The  Traditional   French  Crepes 

The perfect dessert to be served with our Carla Fruity or Chocolate Jams & Milk Caramel Jams.  

Ingredients:

2 cups of plain flour

1 tablespoon of sugar

Pinch of sea salt
1 cup of milk
3 eggs
1 ½ tablespoons of melted butter 
 

Instructions:

 

Sift the flour, sugar and salt together

Mix in the milk, eggs and melted butter gradually to avoid lumps

Mix well until smooth and leave to stand at least 2 hours - the batter should be as thin as cream

Lightly grease pan with butter

Spoon 2 table spoons of batter in a heated pan for each crepe - swirl the pan so that the batter covers the entire base of the pan

Cook for approx 1 min each side until golden

Repeat until all the crepes are cooked

Cover with foil to keep warm
